Mitali is a Double Talent Flare/Fluxer in fifth grade at Sage Academy. She is well-liked by Dr. Horace and becomes fast friends with Nory in Dragon Overnight. Mitali is the first known character with two talents. She also plays kittenball.
Appearance[]
Mitali has bright eyes, a big smile, light brown skin, and a dark brown bob.
Abilities[]
Mitali is a double talent, both Flare and Fluxer. However, she can get them mixed up, so sometimes she fluxes while flaring and flares while fluxing. Mitali is a very strong Fluxer, and she can do high-level animals such as elephant. She can direct her heat in exact locations, being strong at both of her talents.
Personality[]
Mitali is a nice, fairly outgoing girl who likes making friends. She's curious, defends her friends, and usually follows the rules. That said, Mitali doesn't mind breaking a rule or two, once in a while. She, Zinnia, and Hawthorn are the basis characters for Reina from the film.
Backstory[]
Dragon Overnight[]
Mitali first appears in Dragon Overnight playing kittenball at the dragon reserve alongside her Fluxer friends Fuchsia, Suki, Theresa-May, Anemone, Fred, Alastair, AND Yarrow. She meets Nory and Elliott during the game. Later, she is seen in the cafeteria and insists that Nory meets Stone Horace, unaware that Nory is Stone's daughter. After dinner she witnesses the Luminous Dragonettes before going to bed.
The next day, Mitali is seen when she and Nory fly around the reserve as birds. Mitali confesses to Nory that the teachers are always trying to force her to keep her talents separate, which she says feels like they're squishing her into a too-small box. She then plays around her magic with Nory before dinner.
Mitali then is seen drying off Nory, Willa, and Yarrow with her heating magic. According to Nory, Mitali’s heat is so relaxing that Roarie fell asleep.
Hide and Seek[]
When Nory and the 5th graders of Dunwiddle Magic School are being transferred to Sage Academy after the flood in the cafeteria, Mitali meets up with Nory and Elliot and she takes Elliot to the double talent club.
